Each notice identifies the affected page, the date of the change and what was corrected or clarified.

  1. Notice date:

    Sri Lanka Telecommunications Market Audit

Clarified that the advertised LKR 6,990 Dialog connection price does not specify its tax basis. Connection-inclusive expenditure illustrations assume no further connection tax; any additional charge would increase those totals. The arithmetic and monthly-rental ratios are unchanged.

  2. Notice date:

    Sri Lanka Telecommunications Market Audit

Corrected wording that treated regulatory audit and publication obligations as demonstrated practice, and distinguished traffic growth from capacity utilisation. Edition e03 also extends the monthly series, household comparison, distribution, customer alternatives and monitored outlook.

  3. Notice date:

    Sri Lanka Telecommunications Market Audit

Restored the existing conflict-of-interest declaration, which was omitted from the first methodology 1.1.0 release. The analysis and source evidence are unchanged.

  4. Notice date:

    Sri Lanka Television Market Audit

The August 2026 revision incorrectly stated that no current official digital-transition timetable had been found. A Cabinet briefing on the decision of 24 November 2025 specifies a 2029 project-completion target and analogue closure two years after completion. The corrected account distinguishes this announced schedule from verified delivery; it does not promise a fixed shutdown date.

  5. Notice date:

OnmaxDT in Sri Lanka: Asset Restraint and the Unresolved Recovery Question

Corrected the Proceeds of Crime Act commencement citation from Gazette Extraordinary No. 2438/51 to No. 2438/24. The commencement date remains 1 June 2025.

  6. Notice date:

AI-Assisted Inventions under US Patent Law: Who Counts as the Inventor?

The 2026 legal review materially replaced the original article. It removes unsupported patent statistics, company positions, economic claims and global generalisations, and corrects the reliance on the USPTO's February 2024 inventorship guidance, which the USPTO rescinded in its entirety in November 2025. The corrected article now distinguishes the Patent Act, the limited holding in Thaler v. Vidal, the Supreme Court's non-merits denial of review, current USPTO examination guidance and author interpretation.

  7. Notice date:

Alcohol in Sri Lanka: Taxation, Public Health, Regulation and the Recorded Industry

The 2026 evidence review materially replaced the original commercial market report, including unsupported market-size and growth forecasts, market-share claims, numerical competitive scoring, scenario probabilities and company-specific investment recommendations. The corrected report is based on official public-health, fiscal, regulatory and audit evidence and labels modelled estimates and institutional claims separately from observed facts.

  8. Notice date:

Chinese Leadership Traditions: Confucian, Daoist and Fa Perspectives

The 2026 evidence review materially replaced and consolidated the eight-part legacy series. It removed unverifiable or mismatched references, unsupported claims that ancient traditions produce modern organisational outcomes, and an unvalidated three-part integration model. The corrected article now distinguishes primary texts and translations from historical scholarship, bounded empirical studies, current governance instruments and author interpretation, while retaining the canonical source fragments and source-specific merge anchors for transparent migration.

  9. Notice date:

ESG and the Triple Bottom Line: Standards, Materiality and Evidence Limits

The 2026 evidence review replaced unsupported claims about financial returns, competitive advantage, regional practice and company performance, and removed invented five-year targets for a hypothetical manufacturer. It recast the article around current standards, legal status, materiality and evidence limits, including the status of the revised ESRS adopted in July 2026 but not yet in force at the evidence cut-off.

  10. Notice date:

Investment Appraisal Practice: Payback, NPV and IRR

The 2026 migration consolidated eleven short exercises into one practice set, recalculated payback, NPV and IRR using explicit assumptions, corrected the variable-rate treatment in Exercise 02, resolved conflicting discount-rate instructions in Exercises 03 and 05, removed unsupported ARR results, and separated ambiguous residual values from the base cash-flow analysis.

  11. Notice date:

Sri Lanka’s Central Cultural Fund Investigation: Audits, Allegations and the LKR 11 Billion Claim

The 2026 review materially replaces the legacy investigation. It corrects the itemised allegation from LKR 11.509 billion to the reported LKR 11.059 billion, restores the LKR 2.266 billion Archaeological Trust figure, separates the LKR 400 million election-period allegation because its relationship to the LKR 2.608 billion category is unresolved, identifies an internal LKR 10 million inconsistency in the special audit's Sisu Daham Sevana figures, rebuilds broken claim-level citations, limits the meaning of the 2018 and 2019 audit disclaimers, corrects the title of the 2025 committee chair from retired Supreme Court Judge to retired High Court Judge, adds later parliamentary and inquiry developments, and distinguishes official findings, reported allegations, responses and author interpretation.

  12. Notice date:

Sri Lanka's Dairy Sector in 2026: Domestic Production, Import Dependence and the Limits of Self-Sufficiency

The 2026 evidence review replaced unsupported claims from the original publication, including market-size forecasts, numerical competitive scoring and investment-return projections, because those claims could not be supported by sufficiently auditable evidence.

  13. Notice date:

Tobacco in Sri Lanka: Use, Health Burden, Control, Taxation and Industry Structure

The 2026 evidence review materially replaced unsupported commercial claims in the original publication, including market-size and growth forecasts, market-share assertions, competitive-force scoring, illicit-trade estimates presented without methodological distinction, investment framing and company strategy recommendations. The corrected report uses public-health, official survey, legal and fiscal evidence and labels historical estimates and company disclosures by source and scope.
