arachchi.ge is designed as a low-data personal site. It does not use advertising cookies, behavioural profiling or third-party comment systems.

Audience measurement

The canonical production site uses Vercel Web Analytics to measure aggregate page use and referring sites. It is the only audience-measurement tool on the site. Its script is served from this site's own domain and reports to the same origin, so no additional company receives a request from your browser. It is excluded from Vercel preview deployments and development builds, and is not added to Keystatic or API responses.

Vercel documents that Web Analytics records an event timestamp, the page address, the dynamic route, the referring page, filtered query parameters such as campaign tags, the country the request came from, the device type, the operating system and version, the browser and version, and the version of the analytics script itself. Referrer information is constrained by this site's strict-origin-when-cross-origin referrer policy.

Vercel states that Web Analytics sets no cookies and uses no browser storage, that repeat views within a day are grouped by a hash derived from the incoming request rather than by anything stored on your device, that this hash resets every day, and that the record is anonymous rather than tied to an individual or IP address and cannot be used to reconstruct a browsing session across other sites. Vercel keeps the aggregated results for a reporting window set by the site's hosting plan. This site creates no separate visitor-level copy of that data.

The purpose is limited to understanding whether public material is reached. There is no advertising, remarketing, cross-site profiling or individual-level decision-making, and no custom events are recorded.

No names, email addresses, form values or other personal information are deliberately sent as analytics fields. Personal information must not be placed in page URLs or query parameters.

Change of measurement provider

Audience measurement used Cloudflare Web Analytics until 28 August 2026. That beacon has been removed and the site no longer sends anything to Cloudflare; the data collected before that date remains a closed series held by Cloudflare under its own retention period. Measurement now ends with the site's hosting provider rather than involving a further company.

Infrastructure and external sites

Standard infrastructure logs may be processed by the hosting provider for security and reliability. External links are governed by the privacy practices of their destination sites.

Vercel's wider handling of service data is described in its privacy policy. This notice will be reviewed before advertising, forms or any other data-collecting service is introduced.
