Accountability

Editorial standards

These standards apply to material first published on arachchi.ge and to original analysis added to its catalogue records. Linked publications remain subject to the policies of their destination publisher.

Version 1.2 · Published · Updated

Core commitment

Make the source, status and limits of a claim visible enough for a reader to evaluate it.
01

Authorship and scope

Work identifies its author, publication type and original destination. Publication history and institutional relationships are described only where supported by the record.

02

Sources and attribution

Primary documents, official data and original publications are preferred where available. Quotations, datasets and material claims should be attributable to a source readers can inspect.

03

Analysis and inference

Reported facts, interpretation and forward-looking judgement should remain distinguishable. Research records should state methods, evidence boundaries and material limitations when that detail is available.

04

Investigations

Allegations should be described as allegations, attributed to their source and not presented as adjudicated fact. Material responses and corrections should be incorporated or linked when available.

05

Interests and support

A financial, organisational or personal relationship that could materially affect interpretation should be disclosed with the relevant work. Sponsorship does not by itself establish editorial control.

06

Methods and responsibility

Published research explains the methods and assumptions readers need to assess its findings. Responsibility for accuracy, sourcing, publication and corrections remains with the named author.

Publication status

Labels should mean what they say.

Article, report, investigation and dissertation describe the form of a record. Publisher links identify where a work appeared; source citations provide the evidence for its claims.

Material changes should be dated or recorded. Corrections address errors; clarifications improve precision without changing the central conclusion; updates add later information.

The Market Audit Series follows methodology 1.1.0. Each edition identifies its evidence dates, coverage and limitations. The platform's publication policy and correction process apply to every release.
